First an update to last year. We did not end up #1 Cairn in Canada, Dallas ended up #2 and 50 points short of being #1. So this year we hit the road again!. First how this year. 3 days at the AKC Winter Classic shows at beautiful Spruce Meadows Calgary Alberta. Dallas Out performed himself right off the start! First day Dallas received a Grp 3 under Judge Cec Ringstrom.
Day 2 saw Dallas get a Grp 1 under Respected Breeder Judge Peggy Mcillwaine, Only to go on and receive a Reserve Best in Show Under Judge Peggy Gutierrez-Otero. We were elated to be recognised and I was so Happy Dallas was showing himself so well!
Day 3 Dallas received another Grp 1 under Judge Peggy Gutierrez Otero, and he went on to win his FIRST EVER BEST IN SHOW, under Judge Peggy Beisel-McIlwaine. A renowned Cairn Terrier Breeder Judge! I will include her comments:
"Today I did best in show and for the first time ever I awarded a cairn terrier top honors. I'd be thrilled to take him home with me, he would fit very well in our breeding program if we were still breeding cairns."

This fall has been wonderful for Dallas, we have received many Group placings, putting Dallas in the lead for Number 1 Cairn terrier in Canada!
This last weekend we received 2 Group 1 placings under Judges Diane Ivey and Joe Gregory. We are hoping all our hard work this year will come to pass in him receiving Top Dog title!

We are proud to announce the birth of 6 lovely babies on June 22 2016 born to Tia and Dughall. ( Ch Cairnisles Suits Me to a T X Am/Can Gch Skerryvores Walks With Wolves.
We had 5 boys and 1 girl, all happy healthy and fat!

What a fantastic weekend! We went to Medicine Hat Alberta for a 2 day limited show. That means 2 shows held each day with only a limited amount of dogs allowed to enter. Well Dallas kicked butt in his Group ring. In 4 shows Dallas won 3 Group 1 placings and 1 Group 2 placing, as well as earning a Reserve Best in Show under Cairn Terrier Breeder Judge Margaret Jones. Super exciting!! "Dallas" Gch Cairnisles Sharp Dressed Man's first time at a USA show, The Cairn Terrier Club Greater Detroit specialty, and he wins Best of Winners and Best of Breed, under Breeder Judge Mette Sorum, over 55 Cairn Terriers, from the classes, for a 5 point Major!!
Dallas Finished the year as #3 Cairn in Canada for 2015. We are so pleased with our boy who just loves being in the ring and never stops showing.

We had another wonderful weekend at CKOC in Cochrane this last weekend. Dallas " Ch Cairnisles Sharp Dressed Man" received a group 2 under Judge Joy Hodgkinson, and then on Saturday Won his first group 1 placing under Judge Roger Hartinger.
We are so pleased with our happy Boy, not only a star in our home but in the ring as well!
